Dr. Christopher Conti, MD
Dr. Conti brings more than 25 years of frontline emergency medicine experience and a proven track record of leadership, education, and service. Having treated over 70,000 patients across diverse healthcare settings in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and the surrounding region, he will offer residents a depth of clinical expertise that is both broad and highly practical.
A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Conti completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Howard University Hospital, where he was selected as Chief Resident. His leadership journey has continued throughout his career, including distinguished service in military medicine during Operation Enduring Freedom—an experience that reflects his adaptability, decisiveness, and commitment to high-stakes patient care.
Dr. Conti is deeply engaged in academic medicine and mentorship. He serves as President of the Gateway Medical Society and as a Clinical Instructor at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. His teaching style emphasizes real-world decision-making, clinical confidence, and will prepare students to excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
In addition to his emergency medicine practice, Dr. Conti will bring a unique expertise in sports medicine. As a team physician for the U.S. Soccer Federation Youth National Teams, he has extensive experience in athlete care and is a recognized leader in concussion management—offering residents an opportunity to be exposed to this specialized area of medicine.
